Asset Properties / Sub-Assets Tab

The Sub-assets tab contains a list of assets linked to this as their parent asset (an asset can have multiple sub-assets linked to it). On this tab, you can link a sub-asset to its parent asset, or remove this association. For example, you can create a link between a server and its sub-asset, the server's monitor.

To link a sub-asset, use the Search field (for details, see To Use a Fly-Down). To remove a link between a parent asset and its sub-asset (deletes only the link, and not the record itself), select the row, or several rows, of sub-assets, and click Remove .
