About the Alert Notifications

Consider the following information about the process of notifying users by email of any new alerts for vulnerabilities that affect SBOM parts:

• The email sent to a specified user contains notifications of only those alerts affecting SBOM parts in that user’s Organization.

• If a user belongs to multiple Organizations, a separate email is sent for each Organization in which the user has subscribed to receive notifications.

• Notifications are emailed for a given Organization after the daily check only if new vulnerabilities for SBOM parts in the Organization have been reported since the previous check.

• The email sent to subscribers in a given Organization contains alerts for only those new vulnerabilities discovered for SBOM parts since the last check (or the last check that reported vulnerabilities) for the Organization.
